FIFA SUSPENED KENYA FOOTBALL
 

 Zurich, 2 June 2004  -  The FIFA Emergency Committee has suspended the Kenya Football Federation (KFF) with immediate effect as a result of interference in the affairs of the federation by Kenyan governmental authorities, constituting a clear violation of the FIFA Statutes.  This decision was communicated to KFF President Maina Kariuki by FIFA General Secretary Dr Urs Linsi in a letter today, 2 June 2004.
